Blog Writing
Starting and maintaining a blog is a great way to draw customers to your website. Using the right words within your blog helps your website turn up when customers are searching for solutions. It's called Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and it's a great way to draw clients while building credibility. Here's a few examples of blogs I've written for CompTIA - the IT industry association. Communicate with and retain your customers with a newsletter. Electronic newsletters can be a timely and economical tool that allows you to promote specials, new product features and reach out to your customer base. These newsletters were designed for - an online teaching and learning resource, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) - a professional society. Take a look at an advocacy newsletter I write for CompTIA called Policy Bytes. I also work with Minute Men Staffing on their quarterly customer newsletter Your Business this Minute.

Marketing Collateral

Postcards, flyers, brochures, etc. are all part of your company's brand and image. A great piece should drive the reader to take action. Here's two examples collateral I've created for CompTIA's TechFirst PAC and's educator customer base.

There's an art (and a science) to creating productive promotional emails. Media savvy readers require something to catch their attention before they hit the delete button. Take a look at two promotional emails I've developed for TechAmerica and CompTIA.

Case studies and press releases are both effective public relations tools on their own - but they can go hand-in-hand. A solid case study that touts your company's product or service can be pitched to the media for even greater exposure. Here's a case study I wrote on the effectiveness of and a press release announcing a new product.

The power of public relations can boost your company's image, build credibility and raise awareness. PR efforts can take many forms, but one of the best ways to position your company as an expert in your field is through feature articles. After spending a few days at a Diversey (then, JohnsonDiversey) training center, I wrote this magazine cover story.
